Domain Boards controlled the Palmerston North Domain in Albert Street (now known as Hokowhitu Park) and the Pohangina Valley Domain (commonly known as Totara Reserve). The Palmerston North Borough Council was appointed as the Domain Board of the Palmerston North Domain in 1902 and the Pohangina Valley Domain in 1946.
