Descriptive Note
Plans of roading and bridge widening over Mangaone Stream for Manawatu Racing Club, probably about 1939, when the railway siding to the racecourse was removed. The Mangaone stream (adjacent to the Racecourse) was outside the city boundary at that time, so these plans were probably prepared at the expense of the racing club.
