Registered files. A series of manila folders containing correspondence, reports and working papers kept by the Borough (City) Engineer and his senior staff. Some of the items in these files duplicate material in series 1/4/3 and 4/3/3 but the majority of the items are unique. After 1965 most of the correspondence of the City Engineer’s Department was filed by the records office of the Town Clerk’s Department. (Series 1/5/5).
