These files contain inwards letters, registered in the indexes in series 4/4/1, and reports to council and committee meetings, (duplicates of which can be found in series 1/4/3). In 1973 some of the papers from files in the T 130 series were transferred to site files in the Town Clerks Department subseries 1/5/6. After 1965 most of the correspondence of the City Engineer’s Department was filed by the records office of the Town Clerk’s Department. (series 1/5/5).
