Descriptive Note

A series of cadastral maps of Palmerston North city, (mounted on sheets of hardboard) prepared by the Valuation Department of Central Government, and used by the Rates Office of P.N.C.C. for identifying parcels of land. These maps have the same sheet numbers as the valuation maps in Series 2/3/11, but do not contain any valuation references numbers. They show parcels of land in the city prior to the boundary extensions of 1953.
