Examples of machine-printed ledger cards produced by PNCC, by their first machine ‘Burroughs’. Prior to 1960 all ledgers were handwritten. The Burroughs machine was later replaced by the more sophisticated NCR machineswhich were used until computer line-flo was introduced.
