Kept by Town Clerk. Paper slips (blue) and cards containing details of inwards letters filed in series 1/5/5 and 1/5/6. These records are arranged in alphabetical order under the names of the writers of the letters. No indexes were compiled between 1970 and 1975.
NB - Only a sample was kept from 1957-1987 as the information contained on these cards was underutilised as the primary way to identify files needed was via subject rather than author. (EG - 2016)
