Eleven plans of filtration plant and settling tanks, drawn by the Candy Filter Co Ltd, Harwell, London W.7 for the Palmerston North City Council 1949 – 1950. 10 of the drawings are annotated with words "this is one of the plans referred to in our contract dated 1951, signed Dennis B Mansergh for Candy Filter (NZ) Ltd" File W 140/2 in subseries 4/3/3 reveals that Candy Filters (NZ) Ltd obtained the contract for erecting the water treatment plant at Turitea – P.N.C.C contract 271, signed in 1951.
