8mm film recorded by Raymond Thurston Ellis, who was employed as a leading hand in the City Engineer's Department from 12 February 1969 to March 1974 and 12 February 1975 to 6 August 1982. The construction of the concrete pathways through Te Marae o Hine, The Square, took place between 1974 and 1978.
The film was donated to the PNCC Archives by Mike Ellis, son of R. T. Ellis, in 1990. It has been digitised for access and preservation purposes, with the file number: 2024V_PNCC7-8-3-Box-5_Ellis_042300
