Descriptive Note
Record of income and expenditure on the Palmerston North Domain Board and Pohangina Valley Domain Board. The Boards controlled the P N Domain in Albert Street (the land known as Hokowhitu Park) and the Pohangina Valley Domain (commonly known as "Totara Reserve") NOTE: After 1953 the accounts of both Domain Boards were incorporated into the accounts of the P N City Council (see series 2/1/1). NOTE: The P N Borough Council was appointed as the Domain Board of the P N Domain in 1902. The P N City Council was appointed to the Domain Board of the Pohangina Valley Domain in 1946.
