Minutes of the Showgrounds Board of Control which administered the Palmerston North Showgrounds after they were transferred from the Manawatu and West Coast Agricultural and Pastoral Association to the Palmerston North City Corporation in 1974.
These records were kept by the Board of Control and are the original signed copies of the meeting minutes. A set of minutes, which were submitted to the Council at the time, are also held in Series 1/5/5, File 83/21/7.
This volume was retrospectively added to this Series after being transferred to the PNCC Archives in October 2020. It includes 'Minutes of Meeting of Showground Trust Working Committee' and 'Minutes of Meeting of Provisional Board of Control of the Palmerston North Showgrounds' from 1973.
