These parcels of land were the proposed site of the new Awatapu Golf Links, to be relocated from Park Road. The plan was probably drawn in 1961, for it is accompanied by a handwritten note, listing the values and rates of the Awatapu Golf Links in Park Road and the probable value and rates of the proposed new golf links in Brightwater Terrace. The note is annotated "figures supplied to Mr Hogg for tonight’s meeting, J.E.G. 22/11/61". Mr Hogg was City Engineer in 1961 and J.E.G was J.E. Garvey, (Rates Supervisor).q
