Generic city base map, annotated in red, blue and green pen. Appears to relate to a growth planning exercise. The map highlights suburban-level parks and schools for servicing growth. The red areas on the outskirts of the city appear similiar to the growth extents explored in 1978 and 1986 urban growth studies. The numbers in green may relate to the priority of each area for growth, with the numbers in blue relating to the existing or projected future population in each suburb. The numbers in red are probably an estimate of the population that could be accommodated by the potential growth areas.
This draft map was retrospectively added to this series in 2025, on the basis of its probable date and function.
